This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Graspp website and our app for iPhone.
Information we collect
We store a list of earlier scanned words in the History list. We also save words marked with a star icon in the Saved Words list. We save this information so that the user can learn previously scanned words. This information is stored locally on the device and in device backups.
Graspp app collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app. Statistics is collected via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics services.
No personal data is collected during using the app.
Third party services
Graspp app uses Yandex.Dictionary API to get detailed definitions of scanned words.
Graspp app uses ABBYY Lingvo API to get detailed definitions of scanned words.
Graspp app uses Google Cloud API to get short translations of scanned words and for speech synthesis.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.
We do not collect and/or share personal information with outside parties. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as how many people convert units of specific group when using Graspp.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, all collected information may be among the transferred assets.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS.

We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website and app is structured to attract anyone under 13.
